This is the inevitable consequence whenever a church is foolish enough to delve into politics, rather than keep focused on Kingdom work.
My own church became a noisy place in the weeks up to the election and Bible study conversations usually veered off very quickly into the election. Our pastor, thankfully, did his best to keep us focused on God. Others were not so fortunate.
